Overall the interview was pretty straight forward. In each interview they asked the basic interview questions about my past work history, went over what is expected in the role, and about the company culture. Salary was not offered or essentially even known what it would be when spoken about. The interviews were interesting, overall I enjoyed talking to each person I met with - but I would say there was a level of disconnect in the interviews due to random distractions coming up and everyone not really being on the same page. The cons of this interview process: There was a HUGE lack of communication and also miscommunication from the team. This interview process was about a month and a half long, and everyone who I interviewed with was scheduling there own interviews and just seemed like they were too busy to do so and had a hard time with following up. When I finally did the in person interview at the end, one person said I needed to set aside 3 hours for this, and then another said 1.5! It ended up being an hour, very quick. After that I never heard from anyone again. I followed up with the hiring manager and got zero response. I would say a tip for them is follow up with your candidates and really be clear with your information and work on communicating in a timely manner. Also I would focus on organizing with the team so everyone is on the same page. Most importantly, I know letting people know they don't have the job isn't the easiest message to send or conversation to have. But it's appreciated by candidates to not be ghosted, and be given an opportunity to hear feedback. Especially when you take time out of a work day to do these interviews!
