The interview was conducted through a Zoom meeting and I was interviewed by one of the partner of the firm. I was given sufficient time to present my portfolio and explain about my design process and concepts. After around half an hour of presentation and whatnot, the interviewer began to give me a brief overview about the projects done by the firm and their achievements for another half an hour. However, towards the end of the interview, he did expressed some degree of admiration towards my attitude but he mentioned that there were not much new projects going on in the firm at the time so they were not exactly looking for new talents at the moment. It was unclear to me why they still decided to conduct an interview when they never really intend to hire anyone at the moment but regardless it was still a new experience gained for me.
