After I applied, I got a call a few days later from the hiring manager and we had a short 10-15 minute phone call. She then connected me with the director of the clinic and we also talked over the phone for about 15 minutes where she basically asked me questions about myself and my previous experience. I then came in person to meet the director and we talked more about my availability and the job duties and I also did a tour of the clinic. Afterwards they hired me.
