Somewhat akward interviewing in front of patrons that are just there eating in the dining room. Shift managers usually get interviewed by the general manager. Usually they just promote from within though. However, once you get to manager status there's rarely anywhere else to go when it comes to up.

You go into an in person interview and they ask you questions then typically you get a job - they are very lenient and easy to work with. Most of the time they will take anyone as long as you aren’t a big problem.
