Very straightforward and well managed. HR associate reached out to describe the process and ask if I had any questions. Then it was an introductory call with the head of the team followed by a final round of calls with RMs on the team. Each call related to one of the company's core values, and the HR associate sent over plenty of prep materials. Very enjoyable interview experience.

I imagine the first stage is a screening with the recruiter followed by additional rounds. I had the most positive conversation with the recruiter who was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It was actually the best interview experience I've had with a company to date and a breath of fresh air from what I've experienced at other companies. I really liked the sound of Brex, their mission/product (definitely cutting edge) and I could tell they were client obsessed which is wonderful to see. It also seems like they care greatly about their employees. I think the interview process tells you quite a bit about the company and the people they hire. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience. Unfortunately, we decided not to move forward to the next stages. The pay was a decent bit below market for the position/requirements. Although the company is remote optional, they adjust pay depending on location also which I don't find to be a good policy. I think to recruit the best talent you have to pay commensurate with experience. A person's contribution is not more or less depending on where they live (just some friendly feedback).
