      Entrevista

      It was a fairly quick process, all in all. I applied and had an email requesting to set up a time for a phone interview. I had my phone interview a week after placing my application, a homework assignment after that, and an in-person about ten days after that. The interview started with a tour of the office and a Wonderlic test. I met with two of the Tech Support Supervisors and two tech support representatives. They asked pretty typical questions. It finished with the supervisors coming back and having me solve two logic puzzles. After the interview, I was told I would hear back within a week. After a week, I contacted the HR rep who had been emailing me to see if there had been any update. She informed me the person who makes that decision had been out for the rest of that week. After a few more days, I received a boilerplate email saying I didn't get it. It was disappointing, as I've never seen a company like Braintree before. I feel like If I hadn't been as inexplicably nervous as I was, or if I hadn't undersold the level of collaboration that takes place at my current company, I would have gotten an offer. As it stands though, I almost wish I had never see their office, as it makes it harder than ever to appreciate being at the rather old fashioned, cubicle filled office I'm currently in.

      Phone interview with recruiter but I felt like the company was just trying to meet their quota to interview potential candidates. I had applied twice before and was denied. Coincidentally I received an email from the recruiter for an phone interview weeks later. After the interview, I was given an take home test to construct an email for an client. l’m disappointed because I took my time to write the email as well researching the resources that was given to me. Literally the same day I sent it, I received an rejection email. Felt like my time was wasted but I took this as an learning opportunity.

      Entrevista

      I applied to Braintree in November 2017 & the process ended in January 2018. Braintree is an interesting company & seems to have their ducks in a row. My recruiter was very lackadaisical when it came to his job, didn’t explain much & I basically had to figure out where the office was, what to wear etc. This was after the initial phone. The office is beautiful, centrally located in Downtown Chicago, all the perks of any great tech company. The interview consisted of a tour of the office, a Wonderlic test (Google it) 3 sets of interviews & 2 logic questions with a panel watching you. Although I was slightly nervous, I answered my questions honestly & to the best my abilities.. but sadly still no offer.
