Typical phone screening and coding challenge. The final step was to code a strategy board game, which was cool. The recruiters and engineers were all incredibly kind and supportive along the way - you could tell through the process that the Box culture is a good one to be in.
I didn't accept since I found another internship in a subject area that I was more interested in.

Assessment, 2-week take home, phone call, code walkthrough
During the walkthrough they will ask you to walk through your code and explain it. Then they will have you do 2 code extensions. I didn’t finish both but they help you as you go.
