I applied and interviewed with BU for the IT Communication Specialist over the span of 6+ months. I applied in February 2022 and only got invited to interview in May. From May to August, there were several rounds of video interviews. Much time passed in between interviews with silence from the Hiring Manager. By August, I had finally got an update as to the status of hiring for the role. The hiring manager informed me that the team liked me-- but they couldn't offer me the job since I didn't have 5-7 years of work experience yet. This begs the question-- what was the point of putting me through rounds of interviews in the first place if they could never offer me the job? My time and energy was wasted interviewing here.
