After a brief phone screening to gauge mutual interest and employment eligibility, I was invited for an in-person hour-long panel interview with the co-founders and their Happiness Developer/HR coordinator. They each were very friendly, engaging, relaxed, and humble while asking both standard & challenging questions regarding my professional experience and interests. I arrived early, was given a glass of cold water, and made at home in one of their meeting rooms which had two couches, a video game system, various books, colorful decor, and a street view. Each interviewer took turns asking a series of questions and graciously replied to every answer I provided with their own personal comments, which made me feel heard & understood. They took notes separately on laptops and Mark, one of the co-founders, reviewed my LinkedIn profile aloud to delve deeper into various skills learned through my past employment. After all of their questions were completed and I was given the opportunity to ask my own questions to them about the company & culture, I was tasked with completing a 3-question writing test to determine my correspondence style with customers as a prospective Bonanza Happiness Producer. The test was timed at 15 minutes and the interviewers sat quietly as I typed my responses on a provided laptop. Once done, I was informed that I would receive an email within about 2 business days, regarding any potential next steps about the Happiness Producer role.
