HR contacted me about this role, and I had thoroughly reviewed the job description before agreeing to speak. Still, the interview turned out to be one of the most disrespectful and unpleasant experiences I’ve had. The HR representative showed up late without explanation and conducted the conversation with an openly arrogant and dismissive attitude. There was no effort to build rapport or understand my experience — instead, the entire conversation was dominated by interruptions, skepticism, and rude, condescending remarks. Some of the questions asked were outright inappropriate and, in some cases, completely unacceptable. These included: – “Why are you even applying if you already have a job?” – “If you don’t have that experience, why would we ever consider you?” – “Your background doesn’t bring anything useful to this role.” – “Honestly, your school isn’t that great.” – “Are you just applying randomly without reading job descriptions?” – “Do you actually think you're qualified for this level of role?” – “Are you married?” – “Do you have children?” The HR rep made it clear they had no interest in an open or fair conversation. The tone and content of the interview were not only unprofessional, but at times personally offensive and in violation of basic interview ethics. This process raised serious concerns about the company’s culture and hiring practices.
