Thirty to forty minute phone call with hiring manager. No structure. Open for questions about the position. Presented team structure. Asked about general skills. Explained team function and what the team does specifically with data and engineering

Long interview process with a lot of people and questions that are being asked and they require a presentation to be presented which is a very outdated unnecessary step in my opinion

3 interviews, 2 screens. Made it to the final panel and was in the middle of scheduling my Interview and preparing my presentation when the recruiter called me and told me they found someone with more experience and would rather interview them instead. Was literally told by the hiring manager 3 days before that I was a perfect fit and they were excited to talk more… recruiter didn’t say they were extending the more experienced person an offer, just going to interview him instead. Horrible recruiting practices. Why even push me along if they were looking for more experience and why not keep interviewing multiple people until they at least extend an offer. They really treat you like a number and not a person in this process.
