Who explained the requirement / role and process
1st round with a team lead : This was a screening round to understand more about my experience and passions. Gave in detail view about the team / work . It was mostly him talking and explaining things to ensure i was comfortable .
Panel : just one person from the team
next step : got an email to check the calender and book slot for the next round
I had to reschedule the next round due to internet issues , but they were fine .
2nd round was Hackerrank test : Started with introductions , why bloomberg , and then dive into the tech problem . String based problem , problem was easy but plenty of follow ups by changing the scenarios . Time complexity and Space complexity in each followup . In the end they gave some time for questions .
Panel : One SSE who was doing most of the talking with one Team lead who was only observing.
1. I practiced mostly on Leetcode where we are asked to write the function .
In my case at Hackerrank i was given clean file where all code for the function & main and class syntax was to be put in . Just be prepared for surprises . In the end possible inputs passed by the panel to check the results . In my case the program was run .

smooth process, recruiter reached out and had a call with the hiring manager. Received an email saying we have to freeze the process for now, had to wait for a couple of weeks before receiving an email that we didn't move forward because they went with another candidate

Hiring manager, product managers, skip level. Generally mostly behavioral questions and some case study questions. I felt like the hiring team did not accurately describe the work I would be expected to do or what the state of the team currently was.
