      Entrevista

I recently interviewed for a role at this company, and unfortunately it was one of the worst interview experiences I have had — and I have worked at significantly larger organisations with far more complex and structured hiring processes. The interview was scheduled for a specific time, yet both interviewers joined approximately ten minutes late without any acknowledgement or apology. While delays can happen, candidates are typically held to strict punctuality standards. The lack of basic courtesy immediately set an unprofessional tone. A significant portion of the interview focused on my current employer. I was repeatedly questioned about my current role and company, with the topic revisited multiple times throughout the conversation. However, in the feedback, I was told it was “unprofessional” that I had mentioned my current company — despite the interviewers themselves repeatedly steering the discussion in that direction. Being criticised for responding to questions that were initiated and pushed by the panel felt inconsistent and unfair. I was also asked whether I had applied directly or been headhunted — something that should have been clear from my application. This question was revisited more than once, which gave the impression that the interviewers had not adequately prepared. There was also heavy probing into personal circumstances that did not appear clearly relevant to the role. While exploring motivation is reasonable, the line of questioning felt intrusive rather than constructive. Finally, I was told I would receive an outcome within two weeks, yet a decision was communicated within a few hours. While prompt feedback is appreciated, it directly contradicted what had been stated and further contributed to the sense of disorganisation. I have been through recruitment processes at much larger companies with higher standards and greater complexity, and none have felt as poorly structured or uncomfortable as this one. This review relates specifically to the interview conduct and candidate experience. Unfortunately, it left a very disappointing impression.
