Was told in my first 30 min screening interview by internal recruiter that I was the best candidate and stood out from the other 50+ who had applied for the position while at the same time mocking their portfolios and personal websites. Was moved on to the second interview in which the dev manager told me to wait for an invitation to the final round/tech interview. A week goes by and I hear nothing from the company, in the meantime they re-post the job ad after taking it down once my recruitment had begun. After getting in touch with them 7 days post the second interview I find out that I wasn't selected for the final rounds. A timely email informing me of the decision would have been very much appreciated.
