Had an initial screening call with the recruiter, followed by a call with the hiring manager to discuss the role in detail. Was then asked to complete a take-home assignment on a partnership roadmap. After submitting the assignment, I never heard back from the team. No update, no rejection, nothing. Asking candidates to invest time in a detailed assignment and then going silent is unprofessional. A simple update, even a rejection email, would go a long way. Expected better from the process, given the seniority of the role.
