The interview process was one of the most disappointing/hurtful experiences I have gone through. My first interview went okay, and I was then invited back to interview with the CEO. He wasn't expecting me, and it turns out I had been "played" by the owner. I was told that I was qualified for the job, but my voice was "too high pitched." Often, I wonder if it was my 'voice' or the fact that my skin tone didn't fit in with the rest of the office. Regardless, it was an embarrassing and degrading experience for a young professional. I STRONGLY do not recommend seeking opportunities there when they clearly show bias when they feel like it.
