The interview process was quite lengthy. It took almost 5 months. That said, the BU team was incredibly transparent and kept my expectations aligned along the way. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly warm and candid and each conversation made me more excited about the prospect of joining. I also understand how important culture fit is to BU. There were some changes to the original job description I applied for and that ambiguity might not be for everyone. Personally, I was able and willing to commit to the process but I can imagine that it might be tough for someone who is for example, in between jobs. I don't recall the pandemic ever being explicitly mentioned and I do feel acknowledging it in interviews might be appreciated, especially by those who may have experienced a particularly hard time over the last few years. Overall I learned a lot during my interview experience and was grateful to get exposure to such a wide variety of people.
