On screen interview with the recruiter who asked general questions about me and my current role, after nearly one month the recruiter reaches out to me via phone to schedule another interview for a Sales Manager role and asks for my age.
Couple of days later I do the interview with the Country Manager, very friendly, easygoing and laid down questions; they say I would be a great fit to the company and would love to hire me. Three hours later I was sent a rejection email stating that I don’t meet the company’s current needs. I am not disappointed by the rejection, life happens, I am more irritated by the lack of honesty and respect for other people, which are the values the company stands by. Not only did they give false expectations, this attitude will certainly contribute to soaring mistrust on future opportunities.
