There were a lot of missteps on behalf of the recruiter in my interview process. To start, she emailed me to reschedule my interview less than five minutes before we were supposed to meet. It wasn’t for any emergency, she told me she’d just gone over time in her last meeting. When I finally did meet with her she called me by the wrong name. I also incorrectly came to the conclusion that I’d been invited to a second round interview but when I joined the meeting she started by saying that she wasn’t sure which applicant I was and that she accidentally scheduled a second HR screening for me. She also told me she made this exact same mistake with another candidate.
I could tell she had Teams premium so she would’ve had AI notes from our previous call. There really is no excuse.
I’m extremely disappointed and feel that I was done a huge disservice by this recruiter.

It was a pretty straightforward process. I applied online. Within 2 business days, I was contacted to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went well, and the recruiter let me know I would be moving to the next step, a hiring manager interview. The process would include a writing assessment as well.
