Typically, Best Buy has three stages for their interview process, screening over the phone, in-store supervisor or manager interview, and a final interview with the general manager of the store.

I met the store manager in person at the store, asking questions about a cell phone. He asked if I was looking for a job and said that I was a great fit for the company. He told me to apply online and explained that his assistant manager did the hiring. A few days after applying online, I stopped into the store and spoke with a shift manager explaining that I had applied and looked forward to hearing back about the position. I left a personal personal contact information.
After another few days I heard back from the assistant manager who set up the interview with me for about 2 days later. The day of the interview she told me about the company and looked over my resume asking a few questions about the types of positions. Of course there were questions like "Tell me about a time when a customer was upset with you, what did you do?" "Tell me about a time you went above and beyond" and Odd questions like "if you had to sell a cell phone to someone in the 15th century, how would you?"
I noticed through out the entire interview the asst manager was very straight faced. At the end she offered me a part time seasonal position and she explained that she really liked me. I asked about the process of becoming a regular part time employee and she said I could talk to the store manager about that. I was sent off for a drug test, which she printed out the directions for me. After the drug test I came in for paperwork and orientation about 4 days later. Later I asked the asst manager about her straight face, she explained that during interviews, she's gotten better answers when she doesn't smile or really say much. She wants impressive interviews.

If you had to sell a cell phone to someone in the 15th century, what would you say?
Easy questions like "what would you do if a coworker was stealing from the company?". Managers were very nice and easy to talk to. Overall good experience and simple for a college student to apply.

I would say that knowing how mobile phones tie into daily life will help you frame your mind for the interview. Also good to know the different ways phone plans work.
