Great Interview. One Technical interviewer (prospective team leader) and one HR interviewer. Interview is mostly taken by the team leader. HR interviewer asks about administrative formalities i.e. start date, legal status, expectations, etc.

I passed the interview. I received an offer. The recruiting department then indicated they are only hiring MANDATORY interns, despite indicating to the Interviewers clearly that I am looking for a VOLUNTARY internship. I lost my deposit for a house. I had already purchased travel tickets and booked (and paid for) a temporary room in a hotel. Entire process was 1-2 Months. Ended up suffering a lot financially.
