Following an application and successful first interview, I was asked to proceed to a 2nd stage interview which I accepted as the role suited my expertise amd experience. There was no follow-up on this 2nd stage interview after 5 days so I enquired about this via email. After still no replies, I followed up again a further 5 days later to receive an email back the same day stating, that following a successful interview the position had been filled, so the position was closed.
This has left me feeling that I was not given the opportunity for a 2nd interview and as such was not given full consideration for the role. No other emails or explanations to why it has taken two emails on the candidates side for a follow-up, given the final 2nd stage interview was never communicated to myself. This has left a some what bitter taste towards Beeks. I would be hard pressed to say if I would ever interview or consider a role for this company again. Given how small specialist tech sector is I wouldn't have thought a start-up with a good reputation wouldn't operate in this way. It seems a miscommunication or lack of communication has caused in this case experienced candidates to be missed out.
