During my pre-screening interview, the interviewer joined a bit late, but the flow of the conversation remained smooth. The questions were quite general and predictable, without anything too difficult, which made the entire process feel straightforward and manageable from beginning to end.

In short. Avoid it.
The interview process is highly unorthodox and fundamentally disrespectful of candidates' time. Right after a basic HR screening, they immediately assign a massive take-home design challenge. Do NOT waste your time doing this.
They expect you to deliver a dedicated competitor analysis, high-fidelity, pixel-perfect Figma files, and a fully functional prototype redesigning their actual, live core product features. They claim this should take "6-8 hours," but to meet their absurdly high expectations for visual polish and strategic depth, it easily takes several full working days. Expecting candidates to dedicate days of unpaid work upfront heavily raises the suspicion that they are using candidates as free labor to farm product ideas and UI explorations.
Furthermore, their design culture is inherently toxic. After submitting my work that I invested 4 working days, I received written feedback said it should be improved. I explicitly requested to meet for a design walkthrough to collaborate and elaborate on my design rationale. They flat-out refused, insisting on written feedback only. They expect candidates to blindly execute designs without any data input and actively avoid any two-way dialogue. As the result, I had to withdraw my application.
I also read another review where a candidate managed to get a call with the CEO and was met with extreme disrespect. Consider this entire process a massive red flag and avoid it.
The only credit I will give is that the HR associate always responded quickly and professionally.

I had a strong introductory conversation with HR and was promptly assigned a take‑home exercise centered on an application flow, delivered without context about users, goals, or constraints. I completed and submitted the work within the given timebox. The response referenced dissatisfaction with a portion of the app that I did not design, and no actionable feedback was provided. This differed from the outlined process where I expected to present the assignment and walk through decisions, so there was no opportunity to clarify scope or rationale.

The process ended after the take‑home, so there wasn’t a chance to speak with the team or get into detailed technical or portfolio discussion.
