I did an externship with the company proffered by UT in the winter of 2013. I got scheduled for 2 phone interviews in the spring of 2014. The 1st interview was a non-technical interview to assess culture fit. The 2nd interview was a technical interview.
In the 2nd interview, the questions I got were not very difficult. A question about the difference between Java object declaration and instantation. And then some question on writing SQL queries.

I had an unprofessional experience with Bazaarvoice’s recruiter. After expressing interest in my profile, the HR mentioned they would schedule the interview but never followed up. Despite multiple polite reminders and calls, there was no response or update. Being ignored without any communication reflects a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. I hope the company improves its hiring communication and professionalism in the future.
