Received an email to have a phone interview about a month after applying. Scheduled call and took 1/2 day off so I wouldn't be taking the call at work. The person with whom I'd emailed stated they have a meeting right before the scheduled call so we should move it to 15 minutes past original time. Ok, no problem. Except that they never called. So I sent an email after about a 1/2 an hour to confirm they had my number - no response. It's been 3 days and nothing. I'm going to assume there will not be an interview. To say this is unprofessional puts it lightly. To the company - if you aren't aware of this behavior by your hiring team, hopefully now you are and can address. It makes you look incredibly amateurish and disrespectful to a candidate's time. And remember, if your hiring team liked someone's experience/resume enough to call for an interview, you may have just lost someone who could have contributed to the company in many ways.
