I did not get to meet the hiring manager who I was told I would be interviewing with, only his assistant. She seemed to be making up questions on the spot and did not take any notes or record the interview or anything for the hiring manager to review. I got the impression that I would be meeting the hiring manager after I spoke to the assistant but she rather abruptly ended the interview before I got a chance to ask the hiring manager the questions I had about the position.
