Long process which ended with an assessment centre entailing two interviews (one competency based and another case study orientated) and a group exercise. Very disappointed with the process as one of the partners who interviewed me seemed very rushed for time and uninterested in 'wasting his time' on the interview process. Was told I would be informed of their decision within the next week. Waited three weeks and heard nothing despite phoning them at the end of the second week and three days later after being informed they would be phone me back by the end of the day! very poor communication and made me feel very under valued.
online video interview - 4 hour case study with group discussion - quite hard and people were dominating the chat so make sure that you are fast but at the same time not rude

Zoom interview, they sent us a 2-paged problem on a company looking to expand into another country, and we needed to broadly discuss the legal issues involved for about 20 minutes. Also had to summarize our discussion in both English and Chinese.

The clerkship day consists of self-introduction, group discussion and Q&A, which is also a great chance to see around the office. People are nice, and the process is enjoyable.
