During the group exercise, we had to look at ways to spend a certain amount of money on a software company to improve it and reach its objectives. There will be packages that you can choose to spend the money on. During the partner interview, it was a case study on a company acquiring another company and the relevant pre-emption rights and sale of shares of relevant directors. You will be given materials on the company's articles of association, along with the heads of terms of the acquisition. During the associate interview, it was a standard competency interview. We were also given the chance to talk to trainees over lunch. Overall I learnt a lot and it was a good experience.
