First round was technical and then second was managerial and third was HR. I interviewed for Java Full stack developer and the interview was easy. Depends on the way you answered the first few question

Entrevista
The interviewer was very judgmental, there is no constant flow of questions from him. It felt like I am in a KBC or GK Quiz, and not in an interview. No discussion was done based on my experience, past projects. Only asking questions of what he has already written in his notepad, so no link between the questions. Allows very little time to think and skips to the next question within 10 second. It felt like the interviewer is not willing to take the interview. I was judged very badly when I said I use GenAI tools to improve my productivity and increase my output.
The coding questions requirements were vague, and not clearing my doubts before starting the interview. Changing requirements in the middle of it. And whenever I made a mistake, I got very cold responses from him and more questions thrown on the face like bricks without giving any time to recover.

I received my interview opportunity with Backbase via LinkedIn. The technical recruiter provided a walkthrough of the interview process via call and helped schedule the technical interview for the role. Post completion of the technical interview, the team helped setup the engineering manager round which was an interactive session with the manager where my project experience and people skills were measured.
It was a totally different and positive experience I had while interviewing for Backbase and everyone should get an opportunity to interview and work with Backbase.
