The interview was a series of Google Meet video calls beginning with the recruiter, followed by 1-1 meetings with the hiring manager and other team leadership. The final step was a panel for which I had to prepare a presentation based on a case they provided. Overall, the process was fairly quick and the team was very communicative throughout.

Entrevista
Initial with recruiter/head of recruiting. Second with hiring manager. Third with counterpart of hiring manager from another region all relatively normal and as expected.
Final piece of the process is the case study presentation. You'll need to prepare a deck, try and keep it around 25 slides or less and have a panel of people who are playing roles with either the partner or customer. It's intentionally trying to throw you curveballs as it moves along and take you out of your comfort zone. It really comes down to how you think on your feet and handle difficult situations. Tough, but fair.

Entrevista
The process had 5 rounds. First a discussion on role fitment by the recruiter and then with the reporting manager. The next two rounds were with sales and technical leaders to evaluate how well the candidate can work with these teams. Final round was a case presentation to a 4 member panel.
The process was enjoyable and interesting. I received constant inputs from the recruiter on the expectations as well as on feedback after each round.
The panelists were well prepared and were focussed on hiring a candidate who fit the role/culture in the true sense.
For the case round, I received inputs on how to prepare, material to refer to from the company website etc and that helped a lot!
Overall, an amazing experience.
I have accepted the offer and look forward to working with Backbase.

From the start of my interview process with Backbase to receiving my offer my interview experience was top notch. The interview process was outlined from the beginning and clear expectations were set on all the individuals I would be meeting with and that a case study presentation would be expected as my final group panel interview. It gave me the opportunity to lean more about the organization, culture, as well as my future colleagues.
