I applied in December 2019 through their website. A couple of weeks later, someone from HR reached out to me and scheduled a 30-minute initial screening call, informal and pleasant. Second step was with the team lead, who asked me more specific questions and submitted some business cases to get a better understanding of my experience (1 hour). After successfully completing this step, a couple of days later, I've been invited for a last in-person interview at their office in Berlin. There I met my future colleagues; they all interviewed me for approximately two hours. We chatted about real life situations and asked technical questions as well. At the end, I've been asked to code a web page from scratch starting from a mockup, only using the notepad app. A bit challenging, but interesting because I got a clear idea of what I was supposed to do at my day job. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming.
