2 Rounds. Both interpersonal, no technical questions. Went through my resume and previous experiences, relevant coursework, etc. Phone screen was informal and walked through my resume. In person interview was similar experience but with hiring manager and several potential colleagues. Looked for personal fit within the group as well as demonstrated intelligence to be able to perform the job duties. Also questioned about future career aspirations as well. Walked me through a typical day at the job and what skills would be required to be successful. Went in depth in how I had demonstrated interest in my own time (what books I had read, what newspapers I followed, etc.). No technical questions were asked, but I would be prepared to know basic fixed income data points. Met with several members of investment team as well who were more interested in my future career aspirations. Ability to learn was critical as the CFA program is highly recommended to pursue.
