Interview was great, post interview process was the worst I've ever experienced. Tentative offer was made and accepted "pending upper management approval" which was to be 3-6 weeks. After 7 weeks I received a call from my recruiter saying "the business has decided to go in another direction with the position" with no other details. Absolutely dumbfounding that this is an accepted practice when expecting to acquire talent.
