I was selected for interview at first stage through Hays Recruitment Agency. I met the hiring manager and spent approximately 1 hour with her in a standard first stage interview. I was selected to attend a 2nd stage and was given a scenario to prepare. I spent a lot of time preparing and presented it confidently at this stage - with the hiring manager and another individual. It was more than 2 weeks following this stage that I was told I wasn't successful and to date I still have not received any feedback or reason why I was unsuccessful. This is simply not acceptable and highly unprofessional, furthermore it makes me suspicious of their ethics. If a HR department cannot provide basic feedback, I can't imagine what the other departments are like.
