I applied online. The process took about about a month. After protracted e-mail and telephone conversations with multiple recruiting personnel, a relaxed 90-minute interview with two managers. We had a discussion about my CV plus competency questions and a short exercise/discussion. Nothing too mentally taxing. The only irritation at this stage was learning that the job advertisement had omitted some key information that would make accepting any offer difficult, and actually no application would have been made had it been known from the onset. Thankfully, I didn’t have to reject it myself as HR informed me by phone a week later of an unsuccessful outcome. The feedback was absurd, with one reason being both rude and unprofessional, while the other left this applicant hard pressed to comprehend the motives that led to the pursuit of the application in the first place. Thus, the recruitment process can only be described as reckless. This was in stark contrast to another interview with the same company some years back where the whole process from start to finish was conducted well, complete with intelligent and insightful feedback.
