I was informed over the phone that my profile was suited for the position. I had to take a half day leave and commute 1 hour for a face to face interview. The interview was initially going fine until the interviewer informed me that based on my resume, I did not have the experience they required. He suggested that I consider another vacant position which was much more junior than what I was currently doing. This was extremely offensive as I would not have even agreed to this interview had I know I was never going to be considered for this position. To add onto that, the recruiters failed to even collect my access card to the office after I have exited the premise. As a Security company I would expect it's employees to be concerned over company assets. The whole experience has just been awful.

Applied online, application asked for examples of when you've shown leadership / resolved a problem etc. Then a telephone interview which is competency based and asks you why you want to work for the company. After that, I was invited to an interview the Naval base in Portsmouth (very cool!) Was interviewed by two really nice interviewers who have done the grad scheme so you can ask them questions about it. Again, competency based. There is also an e-tray that you take at the time. A week later I had a follow up Telephone Interview.
