Overall a bit weird tech assignment. I have been asked to develop a trading command line interface that interacts with their APIs. I say weird because I was asked to provide availability slot for two hours in which I will be granted access to their APIs. The assignment should be done based on a bit poorly written documentation. Sent my version and then only received NO, without any meaningful feedback as to what I might have done incorrectly or what could be improved. Didn't have the chance to speak with anyone from the company.
Overall lack of respect towards the candidate, imho.

Entrevista
Initial phone interview that led to building a take-home test to build a CLI against their API. It took a week to get feedback. The response was that the test code wasn't packageable and had no edge case handling.
I believe they didn't review my code at all! I included a fully built package/wheel showing my code was packaged correctly. The README explained that Poetry was used.
And for edge case handling the code handled lots of coverage from user inputs to failures from their APIs. The code was fully documented and some sample tests were added on top of all other tasks of the test and I delivered it within the time limit.
At least review the code correctly and not waste people's time. I've had other senior devs look at this and they're as confused as I am about this.
Based on other reviews on glassdoor this company is highly suspect. Approach with caution when going through the interview process with this company.

Terrible interview experience. Was scheduled to talk to the CTO three times. Two times he simply ignored me. Quite extensive take-home programming assignment. Only feedback I got was "sloppy code", nothing else.
