It was a quick process - got a call, talked to my manager, interviewed with the entire team, and got an offer at the end of the interviews. They know if they want to hire you, and they can turn the process around in a day if need be. It's possible things have changed, but it's very much a word-of-mouth and friends-of-friends hiring process.
