Entrevista
I got to the final interview with Heads of Sales Department at Castrol BP Petco in HCMC, Vietnam. Overall, they were friendly and very encouraging me to answer the questions honestly. It was basically more like sharing experience rather than seriously and intensely questioning. However, there were some questions which I found a bit discriminating and sexist such as: "Why did you want to apply for a role which was predominated by males while you are a female?" or things like "Why did you choose Business Management degree, is it because you wanted more flexibility for you future career and you were not sure/confident about what you are capable of doing in the future?". As I applied for Sales department and apparently I am a female, they were surprised and kept on asking if I am 100% sure and what my motivation was. There were a few times when things got to the point that I got asked if I could stand the heats and dirts at the bike points when approaching customers (implying that women would not be able to do so). In the end, it turned out that a male candidate was selected, which is not surprising.

Most questions relate to an example where you have to showcase your skill sets match Castrol BP's 5 core values. Ex: what was the achievement that you were most proud of?
Well run and nice people. Very professional and it was online so no commuting for the interview which is good . Range of tasks which were interesting enough and engaging.

I initially applied through an online application process. Shortly after, I received a follow-up phone call to discuss my application further. Following that, I was contacted multiple times via email to organise a zoom call for updates and next steps.
