Applied in person for the job. Manager asked me to come in the following day for an interview. Facility was in a nice part of town. Interviewer was very nice. They make you take tests which test your knowledge of Avis rental systems even though you have no clue what any of it means. Next they make you wash a couple of cars to see if you like doing the job. Similar to Enterprise except you don't have to be in a suit.

I would not recommend interviewing for a Customer Service Representative role at Avis Budget Group. My recruiter arrived late to the scheduled interview without any acknowledgment or apology, which set a negative tone. Additionally, the job description did not mention any relocation requirements or provide information about relocation assistance. I was open to relocating, but because I wasn’t already based in the Boston area, my application was dismissed outright. This could have easily been clarified earlier in the process. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, which unfortunately aligns with the company's reputation for high turnover.
