Entrevista
I received a message on LinkedIn, telling me about the position.
First, there was an chat over the phone, where I was asked some questions in english, but if I were unable to respond, it was ok.
After that, they gave me a test. A simple dating page, where I could choose any framework.
The onsite interview was very cool. It started in portuguese, and they asked if I was confortable with trying to do the technical part in english. Everything went ok, we talked for a couple of hours about JavaScript.
Before the next phase, they asked for the contact of 3 people that worked with me.
Next phase was an Interview with HR, where they asked behavioral questions.
The final phase was an interview with the team that I would work on. Where 2 members talked to me about the technology, in portuguese.

What is the most challenging project that you have worked? Why?

Entrevista
I was found by Avenue Code on LinkedIn.
Firstly we had a Phone Screen to talk about my experience and the Avenue Code. My english level was tested with a few questions.
Then I was invited to develop a Project as a test in about 3 days. The Project had a nice documentation to ensure I could develop it without major doubts.
Later on we had a Technical Interview with some questions about the technologies around the project I developed and my knowledge. The most part of it was in english.
A few days later we had a HR Interview to check some soft skills and personal behaviour.
Then Avenue put me in contact with a Client to evaluate me and check if the Client would like me to join his development team.
After the Client's approval, Avenue Code sent me a proposal to join their team and we reached an agreement.
While all that phases were happening I received proposals of another companies too. I feel I need to say that most of the people I got in touch in the whole interview were kind, warm and attentive to me. That along with the culture and climate inside Avenue Code's offices were key points in my decision to join Avenue Code. By now I have absolutely no regrets about the choice I made.
