I applied to the position online through WellFound, the first week of January and heard back approximately 1 week later. I interviewed with the Engineering Manager, and I thought was a good experience and that we had hit it off. I I sent a thank you note and a question about the company's runway, since they've only done a Series B two years ago and I wanted to make sure the company is financially sound. Then I heard crickets. Fast forward to today, and I got a generic message back that "have decided to move forward with other candidates whose experience and qualifications more closely align with the requirements of this position. " It's unfortunate that they couldn't take the time to give any more concrete feedback or that it took them almost a month to get back in touch, but judging by the fact they couldn't even be bothered to reply to my question about company runway, I'm betting this is a blessing in disguise.
