      Entrevista

I will describe my interview process with Avansas. First, a few days after I applied on LinkedIn, I was called by the human resources team who said they wanted to interview me. I told them that I could only take a lunch break since I was in the office every day, and I accepted the time they proposed. On the day of the interview, I interviewed with three people at the same time. One of the questions they asked was, "What are structure and unstructured data, and can you explain them?" They also asked, "How long have you been working with data science?" and "What projects have you worked on?" At the end of the interview, the human resources personnel said that if the interview went well, they would send me a case, and based on the result of the case, they would conduct another interview. An hour later, I was called by the human resources personnel, and they said that it went well and sent me the case via email. After I submitted the case, they asked me to complete it within five days and said that they would schedule another meeting afterwards. Before the five days for the case was up, they called me again and said they wanted to have another meeting for a personality inventory. I talked to them again during a difficult time in my lunch break and had already submitted the case to them on that day. After answering the personality inventory questions, they said that if it went well and the case evaluation was also positive, they would schedule another meeting with me and ask me to present my case. An hour later, they called me again and said it went well and that the necessary people evaluated my case positively, and they wanted to meet with me at 5 pm next week. I told them that I was at work at 5 pm but that I could take a day off and that I would use the day off for another job. After taking the day off, I was called on my last day of work, and they said they had made a deal with someone else and that they would consider me for other opportunities and hung up. From my perspective, this interview process did not go well in any way. Additionally, if you are going to interview with this company, you should not send the codes of your work.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Q1: Can you describe the projects you have worked on? Q2: What are the differences between structured and unstructured data? Q3: What does a data scientist do? Q4: Regarding the case, the questions are as follows: In the shared dataset, there are variables such as the number of orders in the last 3 months, the volume of orders in the last 3 months, the number of orders in the last 6 months, the volume of orders in the last 6 months, customer number, order date, total number of orders, and total order volume. The goal is to identify customers with a purchase tendency and create a new variable for customers with a purchase tendency, assigning a value of 1 to them, and 0 to customers without a purchase tendency, and to create a prediction model.
