First, I talked to the store manager about the "now hiring" positions posted in the store window. The initial application was on-line at AutoZone.com. Later, I interviewed with the store manager and, later, the district manager. One must be honest about previous mechanical experience, if you have any (none required). It doesn't take but a few questions to see if you are honest.
The store manager stressed the AutoZone concept of WOW customer service and how it works. If you are not customer service minded, don't go any further--look elsewhere.
it was a thorough interview and the manager was friendly and had a lot of attention to detail- although said he would follow up and i never heard back from him.

What is the one thing that they asked while you were in your interview? They asked what was my skills and give an example of great customer service that give you exceptional feedback from a customer
