Pre-interview screening, followed by aptitude testing, followed by a sit down interview with the branch and district manager. Auto-Chlor wants to all of this information so they can low-ball you.
Pre-screening testing involved a lot of questions about your own integrity and criminal history. They must have a history with drug users and convicts because that's what they are screening for. So unless you smoke pot, drink alcohol, and fight your fellow co-workers on the job, you're clear.
Also, the "online testing" involved leaving your SS# in their system, which was unsecured in their web browser -- I saw the SS# of probably the last 25+ people who applied. If you want to get your identity stolen, have a great time. I left a bogus one knowing this place was bunk.
This place is covered with red flags. Don't be surprised if the positive reviews originated from an Auto-Chlor IP address.

Totally the worst interview I've ever had!
While I was looking forward to the interview but from the moment I stepped into the office I felt very uncomfortable and most of the people seemed very unhappy especially mike who gave me a couple of Strange looks plus he had to leave couple of times during the interview which has never happened to me . I am glad they turned me down.

Tests start the process, a basic mechanical aptitude test and a character test. They then schedule a ride-a-long so you can see what the scope of the work involves. This really helps eliminate any questions that may come up later. If you choose to proceed then you have a formal interview at the end of the ride-a-long and are told more specifics of the job. The ball is left in your court and you can say yes or no.

Phone interview with HR. Took mechanical test and personality test. Passed tests and spoke to manager right after. You do a full day ride along so you can experience the job in person. Called back for second interview. Get offer letter and start as soon as you can.
