I was contacted for a first round interview with a recruiter and picked a slot a week later as I was due to have a medical procedure. The day before my interview, after I had already prepared, they contacted me via email to cancel my interview as they were already down the track with two candidates. For a senior role, this situation was handled very poorly with no follow up communication.
