Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en Atmosphere (Vancouver, BC) en dic 2021
Entrevista
The interview was SUPER positive. The manager was welcoming and provided a safe space for conversations. Standard interview questions were asked in a straightforward manner. I would recommend anyone to apply to Atmosphere.
Only about 15 minutes and just wanted to know how your passions align with store products. They wanted to ensure that you had a flexible schedule so you can work some opening and closing shifts.
I got a call from the HR in Vancouver but the quality was so bad we couldn't hear each other. After a couple of days of trying to get back to them I got another call and had a phone interview. After answering general questions about me and my experience I was invited for a second in-person interview.
After getting an e-mail with date and time from the Headquarter, I got an e-mail from the store manager to reschedule it to a day I wasn't available. I answered to that e-mail with no reaction from the store manager. Showing up at the original appointment the store manager was everything but happy and said now that I'm there we should get it done quickly. After letting me talk about myself he told I won't be hired because I'm on a one-year working visa. Which I told the HR on the phone already and she was very excited about it.
I got a call couple of days later that they want to schedule a second interview with me. Again it was horrible communication from there side and nobody knows what the other one is doing there. In the end they offered me 10h/week as a part-time job.
This HR and management is beneath contempt.
