Entrevista
I replied to a recruiter advertisement on LinkedIn. They explained the business and the provided an history of the company. After this initial screening I had an initial technical interview. Afterwards, I was informed I passed the first round and would have another interview. I expected to talk to someone in HR but instead it was another senior developer who asked me more questions. While the technical side of the interview was appropriate, it struck me as odd that I never talked to anybody in HR through the entire process. I have never had an opportunity to discuss salaries, benefits or any other concerns with Atlas. Everything was handled by the recruiter. It turned out, they lied, because one of the perks I was promised (budget for home office equipment) didn't apply to the EMEA region. Even after being offered a position, I was not able to talk to anyone at Atlas until my first day. All my queries to HR went unanswered and eventually, only 3 weeks into the job, I found out I was lied about my benefits by the recruiter.
