Online application followed by a Situational Judgement Test. This resulted in being invited to complete numerical, verbal and logical reasoning tests. Scheduled a telephone interview which was focused on going through CV and experience. Invited to attend assessment centre in Epsom. Five other canditates were present. The day started with a presentation on the work Atkins do in the energy sector. This was followed by a technical test based on 1st and 2nd year mechanical engineering principles. Difficult test if you hadn't revisited certain topics for a long period of time. Individual interviews then went through test questions where you were required to expand on your answers. Group exercise where you had to discuss plans to develop an imaginary island based in south east asia. Finally a written exercise where you had to produce a report with recommendations on how to improve an airport.
