As a local student, I received onsite interview a few days after sending in my CV. The interview process involves 3 current data scientists. There are some behavioral questions about myself, from which point the interview quickly transitions into technical questions. The technical questions by no means are extremely difficult to answer, as most of them are straightforward questions about machine learning. What gets interesting though, is that after about 30 minutes or so of questions, the interviewers gave me a few use cases to comment on. I demonstrated how I would approach the use cases to the interviewers, including sourcing data, model building, and interpretations. The entire process lasts about 2 hours. I would describe the process as quite thought provoking (rather similar to my later day to day working experience there at Asurion), and enjoyable.
